I am the Founding Partner and President of CGP. My fascination with technology and family history in the mortgage industry propelled me to build/co-found CGP (2011), Lendesk (2013), Neighbourhood Holdings (2015), and wecasa (2022). I am a big believer in the value of entrepreneurship in a healthy and functioning society/economy, and in my professional life, I have consistently sought companies that will have a lasting impact in the industries in which they operate. This journey has led me to work alongside the brilliant and amazing people that make up our team.

When I’m not in office, I like to get outside on a bike, a hike, or find a sunny patio with some family or friends.

I am a Partner and Vice President of CGP. In 2020, I launched Edison Financial with the mission to transform the mortgage experience with the help of technology. Edison would go on to change its name to Rocket Mortgages Canada in 2022, and conduct business under the Rocket Mortgage™ brand.

Providing debt and equity growth capital for young and growing businesses is a specialty of mine. I am often actively involved in the growth and execution of these companies at the board level, and particularly enjoy assisting with strategic planning, business development, and financing activities.

When I’m not in office, you’ll find me crafting exquisite works of art in Excel.

I am a Partner and Vice President of CGP. I am also the CEO of Neighbourhood Holdings, where I am intimately involved with all parts of the business, oscillating between the three and thirty thousand foot view to make the most informed strategic decisions.

Leveraging my legal background and experience negotiating transactions, I facilitate all aspects of CGP’s business, be it leading from the front end of a transaction, assisting in portfolio risk mitigation strategies, or providing guidance to CGP’s portfolio companies.

When I’m not in office, you’ll need to grab a bike and catch me on an extended two-wheeled adventure.

Robert was the founder of Canadian Securities Registrations Systems Inc., which was ultimately acquired by D+H Corp. Robert is a passionate supporter of cancer research and serves on the Board of the BC Cancer Foundation. In 2003 Robert established the Conconi Family Foundation, an $18MM foundation which grants $750K per year to BC charities.

I help arrange meetings and calls between enthusiastic and innovative entrepreneurs and our team, maintaining relationships with our external stakeholders. On a day-to-day, I assist the departments with solving operational puzzles as they arise, ensuring administrative tasks and goals are completed.

When I’m not in office, I enjoy playing soccer, surfing, watching movies, and FIFA marathon. Oh, also, I lift!

Accounting is more than just numbers, it’s about the process. I enjoy drilling into complexity to seek clear and efficient ways to get a job done. I am responsible for our financial systems, processes and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to support strategic decision making. Effective processes and current systems are essential in the oversight of financial reporting and analysis, treasury, audits, payroll, regulatory filings, and compliance.

When I’m not in office, you’ll find me riding my bike.

Working in an industry that is constantly evolving, I enjoy tackling new challenges and utilizing my expertise to optimize efficiencies and foster sustainable growth within our organization. As a Senior Accountant with CGP, I am tasked with preparing the financial statements and various comprehensive financial reports to aid in informed business decisions. In addition, I provide support for a range of tax projects and assist to refine and improve our internal control processes.

When I’m not in office, I’m enjoying the great outdoors, being active (biking, golf, basketball, etc.), and learning new things all with my family and friends!

With a strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and strategies, my role includes helping the company and all its shareholders to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings. By staying up-to-date on the latest tax trends and changes, I’m able to provide tax planning and decision-making support to help the company achieve their financial goals. With our unique portfolio and ever-changing landscape there is never a dull day!

When I’m not in office, I’m spending time with my extended family, so I can enjoy quality adult conversations while my children are distracted by everyone else.

As an investment professional, I lead investments for the Conconi family office and manage the Conconi family's balance sheet. Now, this may sound boring, but it’s far from it. On a daily basis, I get to interact with and learn from some of the brightest minds in private/public capital markets and technology, be it fund managers, sell-side advisors, portfolio managers, or passionate entrepreneurs of young and growing technology companies. What more, I get to do this as part of a rock solid team in a setting that is highly collaborative and friendly. I’ve lived and worked in Mumbai, Dubai, New York, and Toronto, and now call Vancouver my home, and my partners at CGP, my extended family.

When I'm not in office, you’ll find me in the gym, on the tennis courts (I’m always on the lookout for new partners to hit with!), or strolling around the city with my wife and daughter.

I manage the operational needs of the office and the team. In operations, there is never a dull moment, nor two days the same. A big part of my role includes managing communication flow within the team and externally with stakeholders. The glue, perhaps—or would it be the grease? I am known for making things happen—it’s kind of my thing. Because of this, I am involved in numerous projects across the various departments. Like I said, never boring!

When I’m not in office, you’ll find me playing my violin, or deciding what to watch on Netflix. Yeah, not actually watching Netflix, just going in circles for hours to decide what to watch.
